Tips for Reducing Anxiety

Free Spirit and free mind is what we all are lacking today. I often wonder why we humans have sunk into such a vicious circle. The only reasons that come to my mind are;

  • Always wanting more and more
  • Never being content
  • Trying to be a perfectionist
  • Way too many options for everything
  • Peer pressures
  • Flamboyancy
  • False sense of Prestige
  • Taking on too much societal pressures

The list could just go on and on. Stress is dynamite that we all are sitting on and the day it will burst an epidemic will take place. All ailments and diseases are result of stress. Our lifestyle and our constant fight to maintain our lifestyle is very gruesome.  It is understandable to a certain extent wherein one is trying to keep pace with the changing times also to be relevant.  There are certain things one must do regularly to be able to cope up with the towering expectations of oneself and yet keep you hale and hearty.

  • EAT HEALTHY
  • EXERCISE REGULARLY
  • SLEEP WELL
  • ENTERTAIN YOURSELF DOING THINGS YOU LIKE DOING
  • MEDITATE
  • DO POSITIVE SELF TALK
  • MIX PASSION WITH WORK
  • LEARN TO SWITCH OFF AND SWITCH ON
  • KEEP THE SURROUNDINGS NEAT AND CLEAN
  • WATCH OUT FOR THE PEOPLE YOU GET INVESTED IN
  • BE GRATEFUL AND APOLOGETIC
  • BE WITH PEOPLE WHO MAKE YOU FEEL GOOD ABOUT YOURSELF ALONG WITH SHOWING A                REALITY CHECK EVERY NOW AND THEN
  • BE OKAY WITH NOT DOING ANYTHING FOR A WHILE TILL YOU FIGURE OUT WHAT YOU WANT           TO DO AND DO NOT GET ANXIOUS ABOUT IT
  • BE LESS JUDGMENTAL AND HAVE MORE EMPATHY
  • DO NOT BE FIXATED AT VIEWPOINTS OR OPINIONS. BE FLEXIBLE AND WELCOMING OF ALL                  OTHER THOUGHTS AND OPINIONS
  • DO NOT ALWAYS TRY TO BE PERFECT OR CORRECT JUST FOCUS ON BEING LESS WRONG EACH            DAY
  • BE HOPEFUL AND HAVE FAITH. NO ONE SITUATION IS GOING TO BE THERE FOREVER
  • BE ACCEPTABLE OF CERTAIN SITUATIONS AND REALITIES RATHER THAN GETTING WORKED UP        ALL THE TIME
  • LEARN THE ART OF LETTING GO, FORGIVING AND MOVING ON. IT IS THE BEST WAY TO MANAGE       ADVERSE SITUATIONS
  • BE RATIONAL AND UNDERSTAND THAT ALL THOUGHTS AND OPINIONS DO NOT HAVE TO BE PUT       IN ACTION. AVOID THIS ATTITUDE OF ‘KNOW IT ALL’ AND TR TO ABSORB AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE.

The above are just some points or rather tips that I have personally donned and have learnt from decades of experience in life. Hope the list above can also change the life of some people in a constructive way.
